community in Saskatchewan\u2019s film &amp; television industry?<\/p>\n<p>Nominations are now open for our <strong>Board of Directors <\/strong>in the following positions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Producer:<\/strong>\u00a0An individual employed by a production company or working independently, with a core business of screen based media production that is eligible for and accesses Creative Saskatchewan funds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service Provider:<\/strong>\u00a0An individual in industry roles such as equipment suppliers, production facilities, legal and business affairs, post facilities, animation, audio, audio post.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open Seat:<\/strong>\u00a0An individual elected from the general membership of the Association.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The deadline to apply is <strong>Wednesday, June 18, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">Voting will take place in place Thursday, July 24, 2025 at ScreenSask\u2019s 2025 Annual General Meeting in Regina.<\/p>\n<div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et_pb_column_2 et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_1 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Applications must be received no later than\u00a0<strong>Wednesday June 18, 2025. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">All nominations will be forwarded to the Governance &amp; Positions are for a two-year term. All positions are confirmed annually by the membership present in person or virtually at the Annual General Meeting. The Nominating Committee wishes to have representation from a broad cross-section of ScreenSask\u2019s membership.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Directors shall be nominated or appointed from the following representative areas or organizations, per the Constitution:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(i) Two (2) to five (5) producers; who shall be elected from members or member representatives who are either employed by a production company or working independently, with a core business of screen based media production that is eligible for and accesses Creative Saskatchewan funds.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(ii) One (1) to two (2) from industry service providers; who shall be elected from members in industry roles such as equipment suppliers, production facilities, post facilities, animation, audio, audio post.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(iii) One (1) to four (4) open seats; who shall be elected from the general membership of the Association.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(iv) Up to three representatives of the following union, guilds, and associations:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(iv.i) \u00a0 \u00a0One (1) from ACTRA; who shall be appointed by the Saskatchewan Branch of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(iv.ii) \u00a0 \u00a0One (1) from Directors Guild of Saskatchewan; who shall be appointed by the Directors Guild of Saskatchewan<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">(iv.iii) \u00a0 \u00a0One (1) from IATSE; who shall be appointed by the Saskatchewan locals of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_6\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et_pb_column_12 et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_5 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">About ScreenSask<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">ScreenSask is a provincial, member-based non-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer board of directors. Established in 1986, SMPIA (operating today as ScreenSask) represents all personnel related to the making and exhibiting of media productions from beginners to veteran professionals. ScreenSask\u2019s job is to be a catalyst for change, to facilitate interaction between people working in these media, and to help to create an environment that provides opportunities for the production, promotion and appreciation of media production in Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et_pb_column_13 et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_6 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Diversity<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">ScreenSask\u00a0 welcomes applications from underrepresented groups, including women, Indigenous, BIPOC, persons with disabilities and 2SLGBTQIA+.
