Riparian Health Assessment Field Workbook – Lakes, Slough & Wetlands and Streams & Small Rivers
Healthy, functional riparian areas provide an array of goods and services for landowners and society as a whole. This workbook contains a methodology for assessing the health of lotic riparian areas (i.e. riparian areas adjacent to flowing water). It was written for those people who can most effectively influence riparian areas with their management – landowners, livestock producers, farmers, agency staff and others who use and value these green zones.
